The Tikal Foundation is founded for financial and ideological support of reform education initiatives in low-income countries in Latin America, Asia and Africa
The foundation supports school projects and initiatives with Waldorf and reform pedagogical initiatives to promote the holistic development of children in disadvantaged communities, that truly develops the child holistically and stimulates young people to be free, morally responsible and integrated in the society
The foundation wants to promote education through playing, music, rhythms and dancing. Self experiencing and drawing and writing of the subjects enhances the learning of the child. The main lesson is taught in periods of one-month lessons during the first two hours of the day, by the class teacher.
